cp's OEIS Frontend

This is a front-end for the Online Encyclopedia of Integer Sequences, made by Christian Perfect. The idea is to provide OEIS entries in non-ancient HTML, and then to think about how they're presented visually. The source code is on GitHub.

Comments

a(n) is divisible by (n+1): a(n)/(n+1) = A121681(n).

Examples

			At n=4, a(4) = [x^4] (1 + x*(1+x)^5 )^5 = 655, since
(1 + x*(1+x)^5 )^5 = 1 + 5*x + 35*x^2 + 160*x^3 + 655*x^4 +...

Programs

  • Mathematica
    Table[Sum[Binomial[n+1,k] * Binomial[(n+1)*k,n-k], {k,0,n+1}], {n,0,20}] (* Vaclav Kotesovec, Oct 02 2020 *)
  • PARI
    a(n)=sum(k=0,n+1,binomial(n+1,k)*binomial((n+1)*k,n-k))

Formula

a(n) = Sum_{k=0..n+1} C(n+1,k) * C((n+1)*k,n-k).
