We define the run-compression of a sequence to be the anti-run obtained by reducing each run of repeated parts to a single part. Alternatively, we can remove all parts equal to the part immediately to their left. For example, (1,1,2,2,1) has run-compression (1,2,1).

Examples

This sequence is similar to A007674. For terms in A007674 which lack in this sequence see A172187.
The asymptotic density of this sequence is 2 * Product_{p prime} (1 - 3/p^2) = 2 * A206256 = 0.250973961811... (Tsang, 1985). - Amiram Eldar, Feb 26 2024

The minimum is given by A072284.
A run of a sequence (in this case A005117) is an interval of positions at which consecutive terms differ by one.
Consists of all squarefree numbers k such that k + 1 is not squarefree.
